Q: How long does it take to form a new Lithuanian UAB in the Lithuanian Republic?

A: With all necessary documentation available, forming a new Lithuanian UAB usually takes about 5-10 working days depending on various factors and legal documentation required by the Lithuanian authorities. A: You must provide up-to-date Personal Financial Documents as Proof of Sufficient Fund to obtain the Lithuanian Residence Permit. The documents will help you to prove to the Lithuanian authorities that you are financially stable and will not recourse to the Lithuanian Social Funds or Benefit to support yourself and family members in the Lithuanian Republic. Q: Will I get any guarantee that I will definitely get the Lithuanian Residence Permit?

Q: How long does it take to obtain the Lithuanian Residence Permit?

A: The Lithuanian Residence Permit approval process will take 3 to 4 months. After you have applied for the Lithuanian Residence Permit, the Lithuanian embassy will forward your visa application and supportive documents to the Lithuanian Republic Immigration Department in Vilnius. The visa approval decision will NOT be taken by the Lithuanian embassy, where you have submitted your visa application. If further documentation is required by the Lithuanian Republic Immigration Department, the visa approval process will take longer than 3-4 months. After reviewing your visa application and supportive documents, the Lithuanian Republic Immigration Department will notify the visa review decision to Lithuanian Embassy, where you have submitted the visa application. Q: What will be the validity of Lithuanian Residence Permit that I will be granted?

A: The duration of Lithuanian Residence Permit is decided and issued by Lithuanian Immigration Department. If your Residence Permit application is approved, you will be granted a renewable, multiple entry Lithuanian Residence Permit for one year. Ten weeks prior to the expiry date of your Residence Permit, it can be applied for renewal while you are in the Lithuanian Republic. We will explain the renewal technicalities at appropriate time as required. After five years of continuous stay in the Lithuanian Republic as a Temporary Residence Permit holder, you will become eligible to apply for the Lithuanian Permanent Residence Permit, which will be granted for rest of your life and require no further renewals thereafter. Q: What qualifications are necessary for obtaining the Lithuanian Residence Permit?

A: You DO NOT require specific educational qualification or work experience to apply for the Lithuanian Residence Permit. Obtaining the Lithuanian Residence Permit consists of TWO Stages. In the First Stage, we will have to register Lithuanian UAB (company) on behalf of your name. In the Second Stage, we will have to prepare the Lithuanian visa documents, which are required to apply for the Lithuanian Residence Permit based on the Lithuanian UAB. It is a complex process.
